We offer New Resident Packages to those who have moved to St. Albert or those who are considering St. Albert as their new home courtesy of the City of St. Albert. These packages are available at the St. Albert Visitor Welcome Centre, located at 71 St. Albert Trail.
We also provide information for Newcomers to Canada. This includes information on Housing, Transportation, Health & Medical Services, Immigrant & Newcomer Services, Education and Community Involvement.
New Resident Packages
The New Resident Packages include information on the local Protestant and Public school districts, local maps, visitor guides, recreational maps, activity guides, and information on the city of St. Albert. We also have transportation guides and phone books available for visitors who stop by the Visitor Welcome Center.
Realtors and Real Estate Agents may also come to the Visitor Welcome Center to pick-up New Resident Packages for their clients to facilitate their move to St. Albert!

St. Albert Newcomers' Club
Are you recently (in the past 3 years) new to our beautiful city, retired, widowed, divorced, or a new mom? In other words, experiencing a significant change in your life! St. Albert Newcomers is a warm and welcoming group of women experiencing similar life circumstances who want to help you develop friendships while enjoying many activities.
St. Albert Newcomers (SAN) is an unregistered, not-for-profit, self-organized and self-managed collective, operating with the sole purpose of promoting friendship oriented activities for women. They operate as a closed FaceBook Page.
Eligibility - The Collective is open to any St. Albert and area woman who is at least 18 years old, new to the city or experiencing a life transition such as retirement, becoming a stay at home mom, divorce or death of a life partner. Participation in SAN can last up to five years.
Activities include: coffees, movies, a book club, Moms and Tots, ladies lunches, pub nights and so much more.
