Visitors should bring blankets and lawn chairs for a picnic-style supper! In addition to the food trucks, there will also be live music and tours of the historic St. Albert Grain Elevator Park, which is located at 4 Meadowview Drive.

This family-friendly event features activities for children in Crabapple Lane, including crafts with the Nature Kids. From 1:30pm until 3:00pm, the Kitka Quartet will serenade picnic-goers with live music from the gazebo. This special Farmers’ Market is open from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm and showcases vendors who use honey and beeswax in their products. Chat to a honey bee expert and learn more about the production of honey by checking out the honey harvesting equipment on display. There will also be honey bee themed crafts and games, including a fact find contest with prizes! Visitors can also take home a free packet of seeds that they can plant to support honey bees!

Gish Food Forest, located at 75 Akins Drive, where participants will receive a map of the tour’s destinations. From there, participants will carpool to local gardens until 9:30 pm, finishing with refreshments at the exciting final location!
Spend a charming afternoon outside at St. Albert Botanic Park’s Garden Day and Rose Show on Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. Volunteers will be available during the event to offer guided tours of the park and answer questions about the five-acre garden, with live musical accompaniment provided by local musicians Madeline & Montague. Find a Canadian symbol at St. Albert Public Library, Art Gallery of St. Albert, St. Albert Grain Elevator Park, Museé Héritage Museum, Arden Theatre, Midtown Apothecary, Cranky’s Bike Shop, The Bookstore on Perron, Candy Bouquet, Fountain Park Recreation Centre, Father Lacombe Chapel, The Running Room, and Savior's Café to get your passport stamped. Once all the stamps have been found, participants will be entered to win a prize pack! In addition to The Great Canadian Scavenger Hunt, there will be a Wrap-Up Party in the lobby of St. Albert Place on Friday, July 21 from 10:30am to 11:30am, where the winner of the prize pack will be drawn.
