The 2019 Edmonton First Responders Rodeo is set to hit the dirt at the St. Albert Rodeo Grounds on July 13, 2019. Please join us for a family fun filled day with nail biting rodeo action where First Responders and their immediate family members are stars of this amateur rodeo.

“Look out for the Library's outreach van at the National Aboriginal Day celebration at Lion's Park. We'll have a collaborative art project for all ages and more! Bring your walking shoes, wear red and join us in support of the second annual Walk in Support of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women at 11 AM.”
Bring your canine friend (beagle or otherwise) out to the park for a walk-a-thon and BBQ (by donation), silent auction, and doggy games and competitions. All money raised helps pay for the care of the Beagles in Edmonton and Northern Alberta.
Registration is at 10:30 and the walk starts at 11 am.
A FREE event that will be heaps of fun for the whole family! You can sit in a police car or firetruck, or talk to the RCMP helicopter pilot! There will be search and rescue dogs (and their handlers of course), a BBQ, you can get your car seat checked, your children can be taught to dial 911, and much much more! For nearly 40 years, this festival has brought children and adults together to celebrate the arts. With exciting shows of all different types, there is something for every child! In between shows, this international festival is jam-packed with fun activities that are sure to excite and amuse. Through world-class programming in music, dance and theatre, as well as literary, visual and circus arts, kids learn they are only bound by their imagination, and imagination is limitless!
The festival tries to promote equal access for all children; inclusion kits (noise-cancelling headphones and sunglasses) and calming zones are available for those who might need a break or reduced stimulation.
There is something for the whole family at the rodeo! Whether you want to catch a magic show, stroll down the midway, watch calf roping, enjoy rides, or catch a concert, you are sure to have a blast at this years rodeo!
The annual rainmaker parade is at 9:30 am on Saturday the 25th. Make sure you get out early to get a good seat! Don’t forget about the free breakfast offered in the city hall before the parade (7am-10am).

Celebrate National Honey Bee Day on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the St. Albert Farmers’ Market! This special Farmers’ Market is open from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm and showcases vendors who use honey and beeswax in their products. Chat to a honey bee expert and learn more about the production of honey by checking out the honey harvesting equipment on display. There will also be honey bee themed crafts and games, including a fact find contest with prizes! Visitors can also take home a free packet of seeds that they can plant to support honey bees!
